“WITH a microscope in one eye and a telescope in the other” Adelaide-listed Beston Global Food Company is working at a feverish pace to tap in to global demand for clean, healthy Australian food, chairman Dr Roger Sexton told shareholders.

Addressing company’s first annual meeting since listing in August, Mr Sexton shared details around BGFC’s “three-legged” business model where it controls raw material sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of food to growing markets in Asia.

It is also securing higher margins by developing a new food safety app and a global eCommerce platform.

“The sustainable value of a listed company such as we have created… is not the short term value as reflected by its share price but rather its economic value as reflected in the underlying fundamentals of the business,” he said.
